HC Deb 16 February 1953 vol 511 c86W
52. Squadron Leader A. E. Cooper

asked the Minister of Transport if, in view of the traffic congestion in the City of London and the West End, he will restrict the use of horse-drawn vehicles.

Mr. Braithwaite

There are restrictions on horse-drawn traffic in a number of important streets in the City of London and the West End and I am at present considering with the Commissioners of Police whether these restrictions ought to be extended.
