HC Deb 16 February 1953 vol 511 c98W
Mr. Llewellyn

asked the Minister of Health when Mrs. Sorahan, 85, Angus Street, Cardiff, can expect to obtain the bone conduction hearing aid of which she has been in need for five years.

Mr. Iain Macleod

Mrs. Sorahan applied for a hearing aid four years ago. An air-conduction set, the only type then being produced for the National Health Service, was issued to her and she appears to have used it for over a year.

Boneconduction sets are now becoming available and Mrs. Sorahan is among the first batch of applicants for these sets who, are to be examined at the Cardiff Royal Infirmary on 20th February.
