102. Mr. Finlay

asked the Minister of Education to indicate the number of school places which it is estimated will be required in the new town of Harlow at the beginning of each term in the school years 1953 to 1956, specifying the figures for primary and secondary places separately.

On the best assumptions that can be made at present about the number of children per house and the rate of completing houses, it is estimated that the following number of primary and secondary places will be required in Harlow by the dates shown:
