§ Major Lloyd GeorgeCalcium carbonate is added to National flour to ensure that total food supplies provide sufficient calcium to meet nutritional requirements. This is done under Articles 2 and 6 of the Flour Order, 1952, and Article 2 of the Bread Order, 1952.
