HC Deb 05 February 1953 vol 510 c240W
97. Mr. Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will agree to meet a deputation consisting of the hon. Member for West Ham, North, representatives of the Dutch underground services, Mr. P. Kimber, publisher of the book by Colonel H. J. Criskes, entitled "London Calling North Pole," a copy of which has been forwarded to him, in which allegations of neglect and mistakes on the part of Special Operations Executive, and the British Secret Service during the last war are itemised, to enable them to submit further evidence in connection will these matters and to discuss them with him.

Mr. Nutting

No. As has been made clear in answer to previous Questions, this matter has already been the subject of thorough inquiries by both the Netherlands and British authorities. If, however, the hon. Member believes he has new evidence of substance, my right hon. Friend will be glad to receive it in writing.
