§ 95. Mr. P. Wellsasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is satisfied that the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Act, 1926, affords sufficient safeguards against the sale to farmers and the public generally of low-grade fertilisers.
§ Sir T. DugdaleThe safeguards which the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Act, 1926, affords are based on supplying sufficient information to purchasers of fertilisers to enable them to judge the value of what they buy. I am satisfied that these safeguards are adequate for this purpose. The Act was not designed to prescribe standards for fertilisers or to regulate sales of any material as a fertiliser.
