HC Deb 16 December 1953 vol 522 cc59-60W
Mr. Baldock

asked the Assistant Postmaster-General whether he is aware that people have been waiting over six years for telephones to be connected to the Peatling Magna, near Rugby, exchange; and when he anticipates development work will have been carried out to provide this area with an adequate service.

Mr. Gammans

We have recently been able to connect up one of the applicants referred to, but I am sorry that there are no spare wires available for the other. Extra cables will be ready about the end of next year.
