§ 121. Mr. Peter Freemanasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, in view of the continued congestion over the only bridge between England and South Wales at Newport, he will authorise an additional bridge on the proposed by-pass road from the capital expenditure recently announced.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydI do not see my way to authorise this in the next three years, but I hope to find a place for the by-pass and bridge in a later stage of the programme.
