Maxwell FyfeThe district council are adapting and strengthening the existing control centre on behalf of48W the county council who will meet the cost with the help of Exchequer grant at the rate of 75 per cent. The district council's original plans were incomplete, and, among other items, made no provision for ventilating plant. The minimum necessary modifications suggested by the county council and by my technical advisers have increased the estimated cost of the work.
