Johnsonasked the Minister of Education if she will make a statement upon the resolution regarding the extension of half-fare travel rate for children of school age, which was sent her by the National Association of Divisional Executives for Education; and what action she is taking in the matter.
§ Miss HorsbrughI have not received a copy of this resolution. Arrangements already exist for children of compulsory school age to travel to and from school at half fares on the British Transport Commission's railways and London road services, and on the majority of other road transport undertakings. I am not concerned with arrangements for children's travel otherwise than for school purposes.
