HC Deb 10 December 1953 vol 521 c266W
80. Mr. Hargreaves

asked the Minister of Health if he will make available capital resources to provide an early treatment centre and convalescent villas at Garlands Hospital, Carlisle, as a matter of urgency, thus to facilitate modern methods of treatment and relieve the increasing overcrowding.

Mr. Iain Macleod

I have already made an additional capital allocation for the mental health service in this and all other regions, and I regret that I cannot at present add to that.
