asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defence why Kenya is not included in the scheme for sending free Christmas parcels to Service men serving abroad.

Her Majesty's Government do not consider that this additional concession would be justified.

103. Mr. Driberg

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defence if he will extend the post-free Christmas gift parcel scheme, so that the comparatively small number of persons in this country who wish to send such parcels to relatives or friends serving in the United Nations forces in Korea, other than Her Majesty's forces, may do so.
