asked the Minister of Labour the minimum and the maximum age limit for an appointment as Her Majesty's Inspector of Factories.

Mr. Watkinson

The minimum is 21 and the normal maximum 30. For exceptionally well qualified candidates this maximum may be raised to 34 or, for candidates with regular service in H.M. Forces, to 30 plus the period of such service.
