Mr. Awberyasked the Minister of Supply if he is aware of the inconvenience caused to the residents of Feeder Road and other areas in Bristol by the noise and vibration of travelling tanks; that despite the assurances given two months ago this nuisance has not been abated; and if he will take steps to transfer these machines by some different method.
§ Mr. SandysI have now made arrangements for these tanks to be tested in future at the Lulsgate Bottom aerodrome and for them to be taken there on transporters. This will, I hope, avoid any further disturbance to residents.
