103. Mr. Beswick

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation by which national authority the inquiry was held into the air crash in the Eastern zone of Germany of a machine owned by Silver City Airways; what report was compiled; and if he will publish it.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The accident to the Silver City Airways aircraft which crashed in Berlin on 19th January last was investigated by the United States High Commission in Germany. A report was made by them and a copy of it was sent to my Department. I do not propose to publish it.
