asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will give the best up-to-date estimate of the capital cost of the new towns planned so far.

The latest estimate is in the foreword to the Accounts of the New Towns for 1951–52 which, I understand, will be available in the Vote Office on Thursday.
