§ Mr. Beswickasked the Minister of Civil Aviation if he is now in a position to say when this country will ratify the Rome Convention on Damage caused by Foreign Aircraft to Third Parties on the Surface.
§ Mr. R. Harrisasked the Minister of Civil Aviation whether he is now able to make a statement concerning the signature of the Convention on Damage caused by Foreign Aircraft to Third Parties on the Surface.
§ Mr. ProfumoThe Convention was signed on behalf of Her Majesty's Government on 22nd April, but its provisions will not come into force in this country until it has been ratified. I am unable at present to make any statement concerning ratification since legislation will be necessary before ratification can be effected.
