HC Deb 21 April 1953 vol 514 cc39-40W
9. Mr. J. Henderson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether his attention has been drawn to the fact that at Go van juvenile court, Glasgow, on 24th February, four boys, one aged 15, the others 16, were found guilty of being drunk and incapable, and the younger boy confessed he got the drink in a bar; and what steps have been taken to trace the publican guilty of this breach of the law.

Mr. Henderson Stewart

Yes. As regards the second part of the Question, the responsible police authority is Glasgow Corporation, but I have made inquiries and I am informed that the police have been unable to ascertain by whom the drink taken by these boys was supplied.
