HC Deb 02 April 1953 vol 513 c178W
Dr. Broughton

asked the Minister of Health what measures have been taken for the isolation and treatment of patients suffering from smallpox in the Tod-morden outbreak of the disease.

Miss Hornsby-Smith

The patients are being treated in Ainsworth Smallpox Hospital and in Oakwell Smallpox Hospital, Birstall. My right hon. Friend would like to express his appreciation of the work of all grades of hospital staff who are looking after them.
