Mr. Robson Brown

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power what average weekly coal output will be required between the present date and December to maintain annual output at a figure no less than last year's and to cover the loss of output occasioned by the additional week's holiday and Coronation holiday.

Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd

4.012 million tons of deep-mined coal for the last 41 weeks of this year, which is equivalent to an average of 4.36 million tons per colliery working week.
