§ Miss HorsbrughThe recommendations of the Fleming Report relating to independent public schools have not been implemented. To some extent pupils are being assisted by L.E.As. to attend public boarding schools under the Scholarships and Other Benefits Regulations made under the Education Act, 1944. Under present financial circumstances, however, this practice is not widespread and cannot be expected to increase.
