§ Mr. GammansAs already announced, work is proceeding on the B.B.C. station at Pontop Pike and on the Post Office connecting links. It is not yet possible to say when the station will be opened, but test transmissions will be started as soon as possible with a view to giving the fullest assistance to radio dealers in the installation and adjustment of television sets before Coronation Day.
