Friend has received complaints about some experiments in one-way traffic working and in restricting the waiting of vehicles which are being carried out in the centre of Cardiff under local powers. He is awaiting a communication from the Cardiff City Council with whom the Department have been in correspondence on this matter. The Council have not yet applied to my right hon. Friend for confirmation of any Order to make the arrangements permanent under the Road Traffic Acts.
