Mr. Beswickasked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that National Service men undergoing training at a Royal Signals training unit at Catterick are instructed to purchase for their personal use stated proprietary brands of soap, boot polish, shaving sticks, toothpaste and metal polish; and whether this degree of standardisation is in accordance with the policy of his Department.
