HC Deb 28 October 1952 vol 505 c186W
65. Dr. King

asked the Minister of Pensions why the dependants of Far East prisoners of war who died in Japanese hands were excluded from the recent award of £15.

Mr. Amory

The widows of those who died in captivity or who have since died are already eligible for a share.

As regards other dependants, I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my Parliamentary Secretary to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Lewes (Major Beamish) on 17th October, 1952.
