Mr. Simmons

asked the Secretary of State for War if he will arrange that soldiers going home on embarkation leave shall receive the pay and allowances due to them with their railway warrant, thus enabling them to enjoy their leave without undue financial worries.

Under the existing regulations, no difficulty of this kind should arise. But if the hon. Member has a particular case in mind and will let me have details. I shall gladly look into it.
