HC Deb 21 October 1952 vol 505 cc101-2W
131. Mr. Bottomley

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement upon the recent trade talks with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Mr. Mackeson

The only trade talks with the U.S.S.R. have been those concerned with the contract for coarse grains which was described by my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food on 15th October, in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Sunderland, North (Mr. Willey).
