§ 125. Mr. N. Macphersonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Defence what steps his Department has taken to obtain orders for defence equipment from Canada; and what is the value and nature of orders so obtained.
§ Mr. BirchEvery effort has been and will continue to be made to obtain Canadian orders. The value of orders obtained so far this year is about £30 million. They cover a wide range of equipment for all three Services, including an aircraft carrier, aircraft and aero engines, and tanks.
