§ Mr. H. MacmillanUp to 30th September, 1952, Exchequer grants totalling £2,344,000 had been made to local authorities in England and Wales under the Coast Protection Act, 1949. Consultation between authorities in4W matters of common concern is the normal practice. Three joint advisory committees have been formed, but so far I have seen no formal joint scheme.
