§ Mr. LytteltonMr. John Eber has been detained—not in a concentration camp—since January, 1951, under Singapore Government Emergency Regulation No. 20 (1,b), because of his activities in support of the Malayan Communist Party through the Singapore Anti-British League. The Advisory Committee appointed to hear objections to detention orders advised as recently as June this year that he should remain in custody.
