§ 96. Mr. Errollasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government why no increase in the building licence quota for a particular area is specifically allowed for the improvement of cottage property by means of improvement grants under the Housing Act, 1949, as amended by regulations in 1952.
§ Mr. MarplesAll local authorities have been informed that any suitable applications which they cannot licence within their quotas should be referred to my right hon. Friend's Regional Officers to see if a licence can be granted outside the quota.
