§ 63. Mr. M. Lindsayasked the Minister of Transport how long his Department have had under consideration the use of flashing indicators as an alternative to the semaphore type for motor vehicles; and when he hopes to reach a decision.
Mr. BraithwaiteRepresentations have been made to the Ministry on a number of occasions that flashing light indicators should be permitted and, in July, the question was re-opened by the motor car 115W manufacturing industry. The Road Safety Committee will be asked for an early report on the matter.
