§ 14. Mr. Murrayasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he has yet appointed a committee, as recommended in the Easington Colliery Report by Her Majesty's Inspector of Mines, to investigate the use of road-way conveyors with a view to determining the limits within which they may be safely and advantageously employed.
§ Mr. Geoffrey LloydI am informed by the National Coal Board that, having consulted the National Union of Mineworkers, they are setting up an expert committee to investigate this matter. I propose to await the results of this investigation.
