§ Mr. PickthornNo. Local education authorities are already aware of the need for doing what they can to help in this matter, both by fixing school holidays to fit in so far as possible with local conditions, and by granting children leave of absence in term time up to two weeks to enable them to go with their parents on their annual holiday.
