102. Mr. N. H. Leverasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the public concern in regard to football pool betting and the large sums of money regularly contributed, he will take steps to amend the law so as to regulate the terms on which such betting is conducted to ensure the equitable management of such pools and to protect the public from unjust terms of contract or corrupt practices.
