§ Mr. Peter Freemanasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how far the children residing in the reserved area of Ethiopia, which has been occupied by Her Majesty's Government since the war, have freedom and facilities to attend Ethiopian schools at Jigjiga, Harar, Dire Dawa and Addis Ababa; and to what extent the Ethiopian Government has freedom to establish schools in the reserved area under British occupation and what schools exist there.
§ Mr. LytteltonThe British Administration places no restriction on children who wish to attend school in Ethiopia. As far as is known there are no schools in the reserved area, and no application from the Ethiopian Government to establish such schools has been received.
