§ 72. Mr. Shurmerasked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the privations and hardships suffered by our Service men during their imprisonment in Japanese prison camps, he will consider exempting these men from Z training.
§ Mr. HeadThe arrangements for medical examination ensure that particular attention is paid to those who have been prisoners of war in Japanese hands. If a man is found to be unfit, he is not required to carry out this training.
