§ Mr. Lennox-BoydIn August, 1951, my predecessor transferred to the Transport Tribunal under Section 73 of the Transport Act, 1947, the functions of the Appeal Tribunal established under the Road and Rail Traffic Act, 1933. The staff was increased to deal with the additional work, but this increase was more than offset by the saving of the staff of the Appeal Tribunal.
