§ Mr. W. A. StewardI am informed that the herrings being landed in this country at present are mostly "spents" recovering from the winter spawning season, and are therefore without roes. Herrings with full roes will not be available until August. I will comply with my hon. Friend's request as soon as it is possible to do so.
