§ Mr. M. MacPhersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland the average pension at present being paid to retired police officers of all ranks.
§ Mr. J. StuartParticulars of the expenditure on police pensions in the year ended on 15th May, 1952, and of the numbers of beneficiaries will not be received until later in the year. I regret, therefore, that I cannot state at present what is the average pension figure, but I will let the hon. Member have the information when it is available.
