§ 75. Mr. Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce legislation banning the manufacture of celluloid and other toys made of highly inflammable materials.
§ Sir D. Maxwell FyfeA Departmental Committee which considered this question in 1938 found no justification for prohibiting the manufacture of such toys. I have no reason to think that accidents have become more frequent since then, and I can hold out no prospect of legislation.
