§ 49. Mr. de Freitasasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that on 28th November last the Secretary of State for the Home Department, speaking on behalf of Her Majesty's Government, told the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe that the Government would do everything possible to see that the affairs of the Council of Europe were debated in the House; whether that statement still represents the policy of Her Majesty's Government; and what steps it is intended to take to implement this undertaking.
