Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenportasked the President of the Board of Trade if he has any further information yet as 97W to steps to be taken either by this Government or the authorities in Australia to temper the hardship imposed on British firms which had contracted to supply textile goods to the Australian market but which are now prohibited from getting them into Australia by the new Australian import restrictions.
