§ 51. Mr. Championasked the Minister of Agriculture how many supervision orders are now in force in relation to the management of land; and how many owners of agricultural land were dispossessed under Part II of the Agriculture Act, 1947, during the year 1951 for bad estate management.
§ Sir T. DugdaleThree hundred and forty-four supervision orders were in force on 29th February, 1952, on the grounds of bad estate management. Nine certificates under Section 16 of the Agriculture Act, 1947, were issued in 1951 and the compulsory purchase of the land is proceeding.
