§ 114. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of Labour in view of the growing unemployment in Accrington, if he will give an assurance that the Government still intends to maintain full employment.

Member to the statement of policy which I made in the course of the debate on manpower on 3rd March, and would point out that although there has been some small rise in the numbers of unemployed at Accrington in recent months, the number of persons registered as unemployed on the 11th February, the latest available date, is less than a year ago.
