§ Mr. Shepherdasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will make a statement about the exhibitors' film quota for the year beginning 1st October, 1952.
Mr. P. ThorneyeroftAfter consulting the Cinematograph Films Council, I do not propose to make any Order this year to amend the Cinematograph Films (Quotas) Order. This means that the prescribed quotas will remain at 30 per cent. for first-feature films and 25 per cent. for supporting programmes for the exhibitors' quota year beginning 1st October, 1952.
