§ 108. Mr. Wadeasked the Minister of Health whether, under his Regulations, a person is liable to pay for dentures which were prescribed before a charge was imposed but supplied after the date when charges were imposed; and what instructions he has issued on this matter.
§ Miss Hornsby-SmithUnder the 1951 Act a person is not liable to pay for dentures supplied either under the general dental service or by the hospital service if he was accepted for treatment by the 233W respective service before 21st May, 1951, when the charges became payable. Instructions to the statutory bodies concerned were issued on 16th May and to dentists on 19th May, 1951.
