§ 85. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of Supply whether his attention has been called to an increase in road haulage charges of 10 per cent. as from 1st April; and what effect this will have on the cost of transport of materials coming under his control.
§ Mr. LowYes. The effect of this increase on iron and steel costs can be assessed only broadly. It is estimated at 3d. to 4d. a ton on the costs of steel.
