§ 35. Mr. D. Jonesasked the Minister of Transport whether he will publish the number of C licences in operation on 31st 172W December in the years 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950 and 1951, showing the number of holders and vehicles separately.
§ Mr. MaclayThe number of holders of "C" Carriers' Licences and the number of vehicles so authorised on 31st December, for each of the years 1947 to 1951, were as follows:

The effect of this was to add nearly 11,000 petroleum companies and showmen's vehicles not previously included.
