§ Mr. J. Taylorasked the Prime Minister if he will consider arranging some ceremony to mark the centenary this year of the completion of the Houses of Parliament in 1852.
§ The Prime MinisterI do not think that a ceremony would be appropriate at the present time, especially since the various parts of the Palace of Westminster were completed at different dates and there is no one date which could mark the centenary.
